Well, my name is Barbara, and I am a 20 year old lesbian. I live in Stockton, CA with my girlfriend, my mom, my stepdad, my brother and his girlfriend, and three other roommates. My girlfriend and I have two dogs, a cat, and a snake, and we love them like they were our children.
I was born here in Stockton, but growing up I mainly jumped between the bay area and northern California. When I was a teenager I spent a few years in Reno, Nevada, but at the age of 19 I moved back "home" to Stockton and have been here ever since. My girlfriend lived down in Visalia, California until April of 2010, at which point she moved in with me. I gotta be honest, I couldn't be happier ![]()
I personally have three tattoos and seven piercings, and I absolutely love them. I want to get more in the future but I've got some things holding me back (namely money).
I have three older brothers and a baby sister; my brothers are 10, 12, and 14 years older than me, and my sister is 14 years younger than me. (They're all half-siblings, if you were wondering; the brothers are on my mom's side and the sister is on my dad's.)

Earthquakes... Seriously.
I have a tic disorder. Apparently a lot of people don't know what this means, so I'll try to explain... There are things that I do on a regular basis (like several times a day) that I can't really control. I have now given my tic disorder its own page (check in the sidebar or click here) for those who are interested in getting more information.
I used to be a pescatarian. This is like a vegetarian, except a pescatarian will eat fish. It's not true vegetarianism, although a lot of people simplify it by saying that they are a vegetarian who eats fish. Even though I've started eating meat again, I still don't have it on a daily basis. I'm not such a big fan, really.
I am terrified of earthquakes. So much so that when I was living in Reno, and we had a series of earthquakes (something like 35 within a month I believe) I actually slept in my mom's bed... Worse was that I was 18 when this happened! I think part of it happens to do with a loss of control, which is another big fear of mine.
I'm ambidextrous. This means I don't have a dominant hand. I usually write with my right hand and do other things with my left hand, but I am able to switch if needed (like when one of my arms is hurting).
I was my high school's salutatorian. For those of you who don't know what this means, I was the runner-up to the valedictorian. I'm pretty proud of this honor, especially considering I dropped out of high school for two years and still managed to finish school on time while working full time.
